I LOVE Pinterest! And I confess that I can get lost down the Pinterest rabbit hole more often than not. I do try to be restrained and stick to 10 mins before bedtime or first thing in the morning but invariably I end up wandering and lost. Happy, but definitely side-tracked and lost!Read More
A couple of years ago, I bought my grandchildren an Elf on the Shelf gift set. They named their elf, Eli, and he has been the source of great joy and fun each December on the run up to Christmas.Read More

Client: Makower UK. My debut fabric collection for Makower UK is a playful and whimsical children’s novelty mermaid theme. Merryn was designed with my daughter and granddaughters in mind. The Little Mermaid being a much loved favourite book and film during my daughter’s childhood, and now with my granddaughters. Also, inspired by my love of Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tales and with a nod to the mermaid folklores in Cornwall, where I live.
The origins of the name, Merryn, meaning “joy” and “born of the sea” seemed a perfect name for my first fabric collection. What little girl doesn’t want to be a mermaid at some point?! “Always be yourself. Unless you can be a mermaid. Then always be a mermaid”!
My fabric samples of my first collection for Makower UK recently arrived and I cannot tell you enough how exciting it is to see it!Read More
